Year 3 and 4 hit rock bottom this week, or rather bedrock I should say. Using a variety of sweet treats, they constructed their own layers of the soil of our Earth. From a bedrock base of marshmallows to a smashed Oreo topsoil they saw both the process of weathering and erosion and the four components of soil: rock, air, water and organic matter…or in our case, jelly worms!
