Today Years 3 and 4 went on a very exciting school trip to Pizza Express! Each person made their own Margherita pizza. While we were waiting to go inside we looked at all the landmarks and took pictures. We learnt lots of facts like the BT Tower was sold to a restaurant!
When we were inside we had to wash our hands and then we got hats with numbers. We started to press the pizza dough to make a crust. After that we smeared some saucy tomato sauce and got a handful of cheese cubes to sprinkle on our pizza. Now all that was left was to cook them! Our stomach rumbled while we waited for the pizza! In the time we were waiting, we learnt about ‘M.R.S.G.R.E.N’ which is an acronym for the things all living things need. Finally the cooks called our numbers from our hats and received the cheesy goodness!!! Then we went to the park to enjoy our glorious pizza! At last!
