In Year 1 and 2 Eco Club, we have been thinking about how we can combine our love for our local green space, and our school value of service. As a result, when the weather has been good and not too cold, we have been litter picking in Tabard Gardens. On our most recent litter picking adventure the children collected four bags of rubbish in the nature area alone! As part of mental health week, we also spoke about how being outside in nature, being active, and serving others can be great for our wellbeing both as individuals and as a community.
