Book club

During the holidays Year 4 were given a challenge: to read a book they have never read before and complete a book review. This week we have been sharing our book reviews and discussing what we liked or disliked about the books. We had hot chocolate with marshmallows and enjoyed a whole lesson of talking about books! Some children got lots of ideas for new books they would like to read based on their friends' recommendations. The children rated their books out of 5 stars and had to explain why they gave that rating. After this, we played some games which related to the books we had read. We had lots of fun and are really looking forward to discussing our books next time!
