As a starter to our topic of sound in Years 3 and 4 we have literally been making waves - sound waves. We've learnt that the vibrations of objects are what causes sound waves that are then heard by our ears. It was amazing to SEE the sound waves ripple through the water as we dipped a vibrating tuning fork into the water!
