On Monday Years 3 and 4 had an exciting visit from the Little Angel Theatre. We participated in a shadow puppet workshop to kick off our topic this term of Light and Darkness. During the workshop we learned about the terms opaque, transparent and translucent, and experimented with what happens to images when we get closer to or move further away from the light source.
Children linked their understanding of last half term's Tudor topic and this new topic by creating their own Tudor themed shadow puppets.Then they created their own mini performances using the light screen and their puppets.
