By Florence, Year 6 On Wednesday 4th of December, in the afternoon, a TfL (Transport for London) worker, called Debo, came in to give Year 6 a workshop on keeping safe on public transport. He gave us three values to remember when on public transport. They were: Respect, Responsibility and Awareness. This means you should: respect other people on public transport, be responsible for yourself and your things, and be aware of your surroundings. We were also shown some videos of how amazing transport is, how not to behave when on public transport, and also to show the consequences of our actions. They were quite serious and we also learnt important things from them such as to never walk through the door that connects carriages. Another thing you should always do is step your body height away from the edge and then take a big step back again. We were also told about safer strangers, such as people in uniform such as bus drivers. It was a very informative workshop.
